A business parable for our time.

My goal for Expect More was to communicate my business philosophy rather than to create a how-to book. So, I decided to write a business parable. My approach has always been to teach through real-live examples, so this format fits me well.

The story is only about 100 pages, so it's an easy read in one or two evenings. But I think it captures the essence of my sales philosophy.

Expect More is the story of a young salesman who has exceptionally high potential, but his lack of understanding of himself and his customers have led him to frustration and failure. Some dramatic events force him to change his focus and learn from an older and wiser individual.

I won't give any more away. I hope you take the opportunity to order a copy and let me know what you think. Expect More—Sell More will be available August 1. Stay tuned for a special offer.

I've been thinking about writing a book for years and I'm often asked by clients and colleagues if I have a book. After a good deal of thought and consulting with colleagues, I decided that I had enough to say to give it a go.
